I hope that you enjoy your visit. Thank you to all of you for visiting this website. To those who visit it for the first time, I expect to explain everything clearly. As you see, the web's appearence has changed considerably, so that we celebrate the new site's anniversary. I have included new articles, and there are also new pictures in the Gallery. What is Geigi Gakko? Geigi means, in the Kyoto dialect, 'geisha', and Gakko means 'school'. The full meaning is School of geisha. The idea of creating a website about geisha started in 2005, when I last read Geisha by Liza Dalby. After the site's publication online, I felt really happy with all the positive critics that I have recieved. So, now I am trying to make this site even better than then. I feel very motivated with all the compliments you give in the Guestbook, and I invite those who have not left a comment yet to do it soon. If you want to copy something from the site, please ask for previous permission. The contents have got my copyright. Despite this fact, you can use it without permission only in case you will use the information for a school project. The pictures from this site have copyright and some of them are not mine, so I have to credit them and ask for previous permission. Send me an email for more information. Visit our Forums and share with other people your love for the Flower and Willow world and Japanese culture! |
